Months ago had been embarassing for me, I cried on Imouto's shoulder on the way home. I didn't want to cry, it wasn't like me to do that. But I knew only Sachiko-chan would understand. Her face was already tearstained from crying herself. She usually does when we came to see Okachan in the hospital. That was the day before Okachan left us. She was wiping her face with her hanky, for someone who wasn't girly, she carried one all the time. I wanted to smile at the thought but then imouto said something that hit a chord in me. Those words that I will always remember my entire life. I had wanted to say something soothing and genki but words failed me. A highly unusual thing for me, I was always there to comfort her and Saburo-kun. They came at a troubled time but we still accepted them. Okasan made sure of that and I took to heart those words. Take good care of them. But now as my body leaned forward and held her, burrying my sobbing face in her hair, she was the one soothing me. She didn't say anything, Sachiko-chan didn't have to. She never had to say anything to make me smile, just a look from her was enough for me. Her hand patted my back, it was something I would have done for her too. I had been doing it since the twins came to us. Many years or laughter and tears, Sachiko-chan was a bit of a crybaby and Saburo-kun was very loud at times but nothing unberable. They looked alike but different. It was easy to tell even when both had their hair cut the same way, well.... for me and Okachan that is. I loved the twins, Okachan said to take care of them and I did.
The memory faded as I tidied up the house with my siblings, I was moving out with Shiro-kun and Goro-kun to Tokyo. I had gotten a job at Keio to teach, nobody knew about it yet. Aniki will be getting married soon, I think only I didn't have a koibito amongst my brothers. Even Sachiko-chan was going out with someone, that made my heart heavy for some reason. Shrugging it off, I finally pulled out the mask I used to play with as a child and ran to show it to the others. But when I came into the living room, Saburo-kun was showing the others something. It was a letter, I recognized the handwriting at once. Okasan had written to us before she died. I tried hard not to cry again as I finished reading. It was what she wanted. For us to move on. She was watching over us she said. I knew what would happen next as Sachiko cried silently over the letter, stood up and ran to the bathroom. It was her way, I knew that. Aniki took the plans we made and tore them, it was the right thing to do. I knew we should stay a bit more to be with each other. To be with Okasan in the house built on happiness and love. I walked to the fridge and grabbed the keys on top on it, seeing that Saburo-kun was already trying to get his twin out of the bathroom. I walked over and tapped his shoulder. He moved away for me to unlock the door. Like always, knelt down beside Sachiko. Took her into my arms as she wept soundlessly, tears streaming the way mine did months ago. I wiped the tears away and told her Okachan was happy and isn't in pain anymore. She nodded and hugged back, sobs dying down. Saburo made a joke. His twin smiled. It will be fine. Everything will be fine, my Sachiko-chan. She looks up at me and smiles. We move out of the bathroom and get dinner ready, we were a family again. We won't be leaving for now. I just hope I can talk to her again. Say what I have always wanted to say, Okachan said I should have told her many years ago.
I love her.
Sachiko~
Its a busy busy day, I was preparing Ichiro-niichan's favorite for dinner. With Okachan gone now, I had to do more of the house work while doing part-time as a piano teacher. It was hard being in a house full of men. Okachan used to say I was a bit rowdy myself but then again minna was overprotective, especially Jiro-niichan. I smiled at the memory of him always there for me and Saa-kun. Jiro-niichan knew how to stop me from crying or why Saa-kun was sad or angry or frustrated. He listened to us and we did the same. Well...more like me listening since Saa-kun was always hyper about something interesting. Okachan once said, he was someone I can depend on just like Saa-kun. Mou~ when Okachan was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, he was strong in front of everyone when I was crying. But when I was walking with him one day from the hospital, he pulled me and hugged me. Niichan just cried like a child. I didn't know what to do. He was the one who made me smile like Saa-chan so...I was at a loss for words. I just held him and patted his hair, humming the lullaby that Okachan sang to us as children. That was the only time I saw niichan cry. I didn't tell Saa-kun, I don't even know why since I told him everything. Mou~ I'm happy that this family has accepted us completely as their own. It was hard in the convent orphanage but when Okachan and Otouchan took us home. We were happy. It was home. A real home.
I was letting the curry simmer as Saburo called us over to show something. It was a letter that Okachan had left for us. I was last to read. It said to move on and do what we wanted. Okachan will always be with us she said in the letter. I know I'm such a crybaby but reading something like that was unbearable. Okachan knew she was at the end of her time. My love for her has always been so much. I took care of her till her last breath with us. Heaven knows that we were still at a loss since she was gone a few months ago. I can't bring myself to think of even leaving the home we all had with her. Otouchan is in Chiba, it was good for him. To try and move on, he was hurt most...i think.. his wife, friend and lifetime partner was gone. I understood his leaving. But Ichiro-niichan is engaged to Nana-chan and wanted to start anew in a fishing village somewhere. Shiro-kun and Goro-kun have dragged Jiro-niichan and they decided to move to Tokyo. The family is moving on Okachan.... But I can't bring myself to do that. YADA!!
I stood from the table and ran to where I always did, the bathroom and locked myself in. Slumping to the floor, the endless streams of tears fell. Okachan. Why did you leave? Why didn't you fight harder? I knew I was wrong to ask, this was what she wanted. A final rest. But the pain was unbearable. Silent tears. I could hear Saa-chan trying to get in but when the door clicked open...It was my Jiro-niichan who knelt down and held me tight, patting my hair like he always did when we were young and something was wrong. I could depend on him. I... no... I must just be confused... But I love him... He wiped the tears away and smiled. It will be fine. Saa-kun made a joke, it made me smile. Then the others looked in and chided us. I remembered dinner, I stood up and got the table ready. Glancing up at Jiro-niichan. He smiled and patted my hair. I love him.
Shiro
I never really liked sharing what I felt. But then when Okasan died recently, things changed. In a way I, became closer to my siblings. Well, Sachiko-neesan wasn't really much of a girl so it was easier to talk to her. Minna didn't know but I talk to her when we're alone in the house. She was kind and made Beef stew like Okasan did. Mou~ even if she isn't really my older sister...her and Saburo-niisan, they were family.
Planning to move away with aniki and otouto, I was tidying up like everyone was. The house was buzzing, aniki and otouto were moving to Edogawa-ku in Tokyo. I'm the one who suggested it since we all wanted to move on and start anew. Its just sad that Saburo-nii and neesan wanted to stay instead. It would have been nice if Jiro-nii and neesan... mah... Its obvious anyway, how aniki looks at Sachiko-neesan. I smirk as I was tidying up the room I shared with Goro-kun. It brings back a lot of memories of how we all shared this house..no.. home with my siblings and the happy, sad and often crazy times with everyone. Otousan would always be there, so was Okasan. But that was not to be. Otousan had moved to Chiba, where our clan was originally from. He felt like he couldn't stand the loss of Okasan even if we were around. I think its alright. I was running away myself from the pain. It was what was best for him. I was woken from my reverie when Goro-kun showed me an old picture we had of the family. We had to take that with us. This memory. Smiles and laughter. I wondered where neesan was. Hmm..must be in the kitchen, it smell like curry today...Ichiro-niisan loved it a lot.
That's when Saburo-nii called our attention to a letter he held. It was addressed to us, apparently from Okasan. We all read it. My heart was warmed yet I felt I couldn't just leave. I couldn't just move to Tokyo. Not just yet. I had a good job waiting and so does aniki and otouto but... Neesan was crying. I wanted to reach out and talk to her as she did to me but something stopped me.
Ichiro-niisan took the plans we made and tore it. I was glad he did. I then noticed Sachiko-neesan rush to the bathroom. Mou~ not again... Only Jiro-niisan can do anything now. Saburo-niisan rushes to her but we all knew the obvious. Aniki got the keys from the top of the fridge and walked to where Saburo was to open the bathroom door. It will all be ok soon. I smirk again as otouto said he'll let Otousan know we're staying a while. I make jokes and chide neesan as she was led out of the room by Jiro-niisan. Dinner would be fun again. I smile and help with setting the table.
Maaah~ shoganai ne? I love this family even if I don't say much.
They do mean a lot to me.

I sighed as Jiro-niichan insisted on keeping the big room while we laid plans for our move. It was plainly irritating. In spring, we'd be at our new jobs in Tokyo. I will be an apprentice in an architectural firm. Shiro-kun will be supervisor in a konbini near our place and Jiro-niisan....? He hadn't told us yet but I knew he was called by a few law firms already. The pain was unbeareable for all of us. Most especially Sachiko-neechan. She and Saburo-niichan aren't our blood brothers but we were raised to feel that they just the same. Kazoku. That was the most important thing to us. Okachan said be there for one another even if things got hard. But now that she's gone....most of us found no reason to stay. Ichiro-niichan is engaged to marry soon and everyone had their lives ahead of them, it was only fair to do what's right and move out.
After tidying the room I shared with Shiro-kun, I found an old picture. We had to keep it for the new place we were going to rent out in Tokyo. All happy we showed it to the others but Saburo surprised us with something that almost tore my chest in pain. Okachan had written to us before she died. Move on and she will aways be there for us, to look after us. I almost wasn't able to control the tears. After a few deep breaths, I was calm enough. But when I looked up, neechan was running to the bathroom already. She was already crying, in her silent way. It was painful to see. I looked at Jiro-niichan, yappari, he stood up and went to her. I always thought there was something between those two appart from the fact that niichan was close to the twins. But as I saw that, I knew it will all be fine. Neechan will be laughing in no time and we will be having her curry for dinner. I looked on at Ichiro-niichan throwing away the plans he tore of the move. Taking out my keitai, I told them I'd let Tochan know we won't be moving just yet. We want to be together with Okachan a bit more.
Ichiro~
Its been some time since okasan had passed away, I talked it over with the rest of my Otuoto..ah, sumimasen..I forgot that Sachiko was a girl... and Imouto that we need to go on our separate ways. I was going to move to a fishing village in Tomosaki-ku to start a "Fishing School" apparently it was a good thing to start over there. Jiro was going to move with Shiro and Goro to Tokyo. They were going to find work in sping. A good start for anyone. And the twins, well...Saburo and Sachiko were inseparable still. We all wanted to stay together with those two yet they did have a world of their own. Only Jiro-kun was able to ge to them at all. They were good in music both of them and passed in TouDai's Arts Department but the passing of Okasan got them rooted on the house. They didn't..no..Sachiko didn't want to leave. We were the only family they knew of. We all knew that they were adopted yet we felt like they were our own. Sachiko most of all, the only girl in the family, we had to take care of imouto no matter what. Well, Jiro-otouto overdid it sometimes but I understand him. Imouto was kind of careless with her actions and didn't mind being around guys even at a young age. Although it was funny how she got ne engaged to my fiance at the moment. Her good friend, Nana-chan.
I smile at the memory as i tidied Okasan's shrine. Her lovely face smiled back up at me as she did the day I introduced Nana-chan to her. It was something I will never forget, Okasan wasn't the type of mother who scrutinized everything. she trusted us and our decisions. At the end of the day when Nana-chan had gone home. I can remember Okasan saying I made the right choice and she was happy. Tears welled in my eyes as I tried to blink them back, that's when Saburo called us about some letter that he found.
As I read it, my heart was full of happiness and sadness at the same time. I think I would need to postpone my leaving. Looking around the table as the rest of my siblings read the letter. We wanted the same thing, I took the plans and tore them. It was the right thing to do. I turned around in time to see Sachiko run into the bathroom. She was crying again. I had wanted to comfort her but then again, I wasn't any good at that kind of thing. Jiro-kun, walked to the fridge as Saburo ran after his twin. I knew what would happen next. Jiro would open the bathroom door and hold Sachiko. It was all going to be fine. Goro smirked and said he would let Otousan know we're staying for a while more than expected. I just nodded and smiled. Shiro smiled and followed me to the bathroom, we could her laughter now. It will all be ok. We will be having the dinner that Sachiko made for us like always. I just hope that Jiro will alway be there for the twins, had I wanted to take them in, I'd never understand them like he does.
Saburo~
It's been a few months since kachan died. We decided to move out and go on with our lives. Tidying up the quaint house was going to take us all day but it was worth it. I was taking down the plaque tha hung out next to the door as my brothers argued what to do. My twin sister was nowhere in sight, she must be in the kitchen making lunch.
As Jiro was busy drawing plans of the things that need to be taken out and how things should be moved with Shiro and Goro, I came across an old picturebook. It had our memories. When Sachiko and I came to be a part of the family way before the two youngest were born. Tochan and Kachan were kind enough to take us in as their own. I took a deep breath and smiled. Seeing how we grew up, the laughter and tears that each shared with us. We were thought of as part of this big family. In spite of everything, there was no ill-willed feelings towards myself and Sachiko, as we our siblings. Demou, with Sachiko being the only girl in the family, she was spoiled yet overprotected. She was one of the boys, so to speak. But even so, I can see something that the others may or may not have noticed. Jiro-niichan and Sachiko were quite close. Well, niichan was always with the two of us really but he paid closer attention to my twin. Its funny but be that as it may, I don't find it akward nor wrong. Why am I saying this? Well, it's the truth ne? Sachiko and I were adopted. My smile faded as I turned the page of the album and saw Kachan's smiling face holding up a drawing that Sachiko made yers ago. Her smile was heartfelt, she appreciated the effort that went into the gift she got. That was many years ago, I turned the page again and reached the end of the album. There was a letter addressed to us. It was Okasan's handwriting, we all knew it so well. I started reading it, almost cried but suppressed the feeling. Standing up from the table, I gathered the others and they each read it. Okasan wanted us to go our own way one day, saying she will always be there for us. It was Sachiko who didn't hold back. She was the last to read it, running off to the bathroom with it and slamming the door behind her. It was her way of dealing with things, we understood.
Ichiro-niichan then took the plans that we were making that day and tore it. He looked at us. We all felt the same, we wanted to stay a bit more in the house, no, the home we shared with Okachan. I then went to knock on the bathroom door. No sound, no answer. I knew who cam make her stop but before I could call out his name, he was already behind me. His hand on my shoulder, a nod affirming that he knew what to do. I stepped aside for Jiro-niichan. He already had the key to the bathroom and opened it, there at the corner near the shower was Sachiko. I understood her pain. But I didn't know what to say. It was niichan who held her and said softly that it will all be alright. Sachiko always cried without a sound. But you'd know she was fine when she was breathing normally instead of the sharp intake she made every now and then. When that happened, I step in and make a joke and get her to laugh like we used to. The three of us were the closest. Then again I have always thought Jiro-niichan looked at Sachiko differently. I may be wrong but then again. Who knows?! Soon the high-pitched giggles and the chuckles from niichan and myself echo in the glow of the moonlight, streaming through the window high on the wall on one side. The others crowd in and start chiding us. Pulling Sachiko oout of the bath and helping her set the table for dinner like we always used to as a family.
want more?? tell me ok?!
Title: 4th Avenue Cafe
Pairing: Tanaka Koki X OC
Genre: AU, fluff than turns into mwahaha~
Rating: NC-17
Disclaimer: I don’t these boys… I wish I did though…
Summary: Aoi works in a coffee shop and Koki is a stalker…well..a little bit of a stalker..
A/N: anou~ this is for boots-imouto, note..since i am pressed for time..some parts are just edited from the original text..i don't like doing that (plagiarism) but then again for the sake of sticking to the original storyline and character references i have changed very little..mah..ok a little bit then...
Aoi was staring at the cream-tiled floor, another endless tirade from the old hag that was her Ojou-sama. He pretty face almost in tears as her hands grasped the edge of her blue cafe apron. Aoi's head bowed mutely as she let the anger of the manager rose and fell like waves, it was the second outburst today when the girl failed to clear up a table in time for another customer.
Koki watches the old woman walked away and thinking painfully why there are still evil people in the world, why they find enjoyment in upsetting other people. his attention goes back to the poor young woman, he lovely raven black hair parted to one side and her bangs kept in place with a pretty glittery purple hairpin. Koki stares intently and feels a sudden pain t the pit of his stomach when he realizes that the girl's eyes were already brimming with tears. He feels his chest tighten when the girl gulped and blinked them back. Koki looks away slightly irritated, sighing in frustration. Finishes his coffee, grabs his camera and takes his leave.
~**~
Koki puffs out another cloud of smoke, leaning on the post of the bus stop sign. He silently cleans the lens of is camera with the hem of his shirt until another figure stands beside him. From his peripheral view, the figure seemed familiar so he looks up and finally sees a familiar face. The young woman looks at him before turning her eyes back onto the empty street.
“Oh, it’s you…” Koki smiled and straightens up, the young woman giving him a second look. “This morning, in the coffee shop.” Koki says further when she just blinked at him.
“Ahh..y-you were there?” Her eyes widen and turns to Koki with full attention. ”Anou~ Sumimasen deshita for the commotion a while ago.” her face fell, bowing a little.
“Eh? You don’t have to apologize to me.” Koki briefly waves for her to stop. “I bet… you were just deep in thought a while ago, deshou?” He says non-chalantly drops his cigarette on the sidewalk, stepping on it until the light died out.
“Iie… Just really clumsy.” She giggles softly, shy of the admission.
Soon the bus arrives and they make their way inside. The lovely young woman sits by the window. Koki follows her and hesitates for a moment. “Do you mind?” he asks. She just shakes her head, Koki makes himself comfortable beside her.
“Douzo.” Koki takes out a white handkerchief from his left pocket and offers it to the woman beside him.
“Sir?” she asks in confusion of the man’s actions.
“You don’t have to call me ‘Sir’. My name is Tanaka Koki.” He tells her with a smile.
“But you’re a customer.” She turns her gaze to her hands folded on her lap..
“When we’re in the coffee shop, yes. But now we are not. You know, you are too polite and too kind, that’s why some sadistic people take advantage.” Koki then places his hanky on the other’s open palm. “Douzo.” He smiles kindly before transferring on a seat three rows behind the woman.
Aoi looks out the window, unfolds the hanky before letting her tears meet the piece of cloth, flowing freely as the bus drove into the inner parts of Shibuya.
~**~
The next morning, Koki sits quietly on his usual spot, spreading pictures taken from the day before as he waits for his order.
“Here’s your caramel cappuccino, Sir.”
Koki smiles at that familiar voice, now more cheerful than yesterday. He looks up to see a matching smiling face.
“Seems like you slept well last night.”
“I did, Sir. I feel better now. And thanks for this. I must admit that it helped.” The girl fishes out the white hanky from the pocket of her blue apron and rests it on a space at the corner of the table. “Don’t worry, I washed it already. Thanks again.” She bows timidly one last time, before turning to leave.
“You are most welcome, Serumeno-chan.” Koki acknowledges and Aoi froze, turning back at him.
“I don’t remember giving you my name, Sir.”
“Oh… Your nameplate just told me.” Koki smiles proudly. Aoi looks at her uniform of the frilly long-sleeved blouse, black mini skirt, blue apron and finds her metal nameplate pinned on her left chest that bore her name, Serumeno Aoi. She blinks, thinking if she could get any more stupid.
“Ahh sou.. anou... I have to go back to work.” She finally excuses herself, embarassed at the situation. Koki watches her retreating figure and mentally slaps himself for thinking that Aoi's waist seems to curve down to her rear ever so temptingly.
~**~
That same evening, Koki patiently waited at the bus stop until Aoi got off work.
“You’re here again?” Aoi asked as she reached the bus stop.
“I regularly take the bus.” Koki explaines plainly.
“I do too, Sir. But it was only yesterday that I saw you here. I’ve been taking the bus for a year now.”
“I said Koki is fine Serumeno-chan.” Koki corrects her and the girl quirks her lips in hesitation.
“Well then, Aoi would be fine too, Koki-kun.”
“Aoi… I like that better. Going back, Aoi-chan, I just had a change in my workshift. That’s why you haven’t seen me in the past. I used to take the morning bus.”
“Sou ka…” Aoi nods before curiosity takes over. “Where do you work, Koki-kun?”
“Over that building.” Koki nod his head towards a high-rise establishment with a sign saying: TOP READS PUBLICATIONS.
“Uwaaah… you belong to the highest-selling magazine publication?” Aoi can’t help but stare at him. The man looks so simple to be working in such a company. “Ah!” he suddenly exclaims with excitement. “You’re a photographer there!”
“Well, not really. Actually, I work as a graphics artist.”
“Oh…” Aoi frowns at his misinterpretation. “So what’s with that camera then?”
“This?” Koki raises his camera a bit. “Ah, well actually, this is just more of my hobby… out of passion… I guess. Don’t tell me you’ve mistaken me as a professional.”
Aoi pouts and Koki laughs slightly at the other’s expression. “Aoi, that face was just adorable.” Koki remarks but the honking of the coming is too loud so Aoi barely hears anything from what Koki said.
~**~
Eventually, things become a habit. Koki’s morning coffee is always served with a sweet smile and his photos of the most random things always get words of praise from a guy who seems to be easily amused with the simplest of things. And he decides that one Nakamaru Yuichi is enough to complete his day.
During evenings, Aoi gets off from work and Koki is there waiting for him at the bus stop. They ride the bus together and Koki tells him of the silly stuff that happen in his workplace and Aoi laughs like there is no tomorrow.
“You are really funny, Koki-kun.” Maru tells him one time as he brings up his dainty hands to massage his tired jaws and cheeks.
“If that’s what you think then I’m glad that I am because you’re really cute when you laugh like that.” Koki admits and instantly, three other people in the almost empty bus look at them in horror.
Aoi blushes madly and thinks that she should’ve just kept her mouth shut while Koki is still pondering if he said it out too loud.
~**~
When Aoi got a couple of days off from work, Koki is not quite sure why he decided to skip work too. He called his boss and lied about being sick just to take Aoi out to ‘fun’ places which happen to be the usual dating spots for lovers. And Koki is even more confused why he dragged Aoi to such places. But his confusion gets replaced with undeniable anxiety when Aoi ’s hands brush against his as they walk side by side in the public park.
Unfortunately, the weather spoiled the ‘fun’. They return earlier than planned and Koki asks Aoi to just stay in his place instead of battling the heavy rain alone on her way home. When Aoi agrees, Koki is more than happy.
From the bus stop, they take a dead run to Koki’s apartment. If it’s not as heavy as it is, Koki could’ve liked the idea of holding Aoi ’s hand under the rain but it’s the kind of rain that could get someone sick so Koki abandons the thought and saves the romantic idea for a more appropriate time.
Dripping clothes were hung to dry and Aoi ’s laughter fills the kitchen as she makes fun of herself… of how she looks in Koki’s baggy clothes and that another person can still fit in it. Koki laughs in much amusement as he rummages his fridge for anything they can eat. Curse the damn weather. Koki initially planned to take Aoi to a friend’s place for dinner but it would be shameful to enter a fine-dining restaurant with them looking like wet puppies. Soon,Aoi finds a pack of pasta in the cupboard and they end up eating tuna spaghetti in pesto sauce.
“You’re a good cook.” Koki compliments him after the hearty meal.
“I’m good at a lot of other stuff aside from making coffee.” Aoi emphasizes as she cleans the dishes, feeling that Koki was eyeing her from behind.
“I wouldn’t be surprised.” Koki smirks.
~**~
They stayed in the living room after dinner, Aoi still unable to get over the shirt thing. They both laugh for a while until they run out funny things to laugh about and a very awkward silence takes over.
Aoi suddenly feels a chill run down her back, making her shiver. Koki noticed, rushing to his room, coming back with a thick blanket in hand. He sits dangerously close to Aoi and wraps the blanket over the young woman's shoulders. Aoi looks up at him in an almost painful way and Koki thinks she might melt. There is confusion deep in Aoi ’s heart that is dying to be answered.
“Koki…” Aoi inhales, gathering the courage she has. After months of being around each other, possibly being way too close than normal friends do and maybe even dating exclusively… or maybe just for Aoi, things remained undefined and unofficial so Aoi thinks that everything has to be cleared NOW.
“Koki… what… what are we?” she finally asks managing not to stutter or jumble the words.
Koki stays silent as he keeps his eyes on Aoi . Yet, he doesn’t know how to say it. He was never good in verbalizing his feelings. Not even today. But he fears of losing this someone staring right at him now. So he just decides to put in actions.
Koki leans in closer, letting his hand slip under the base of Aoi ’s neck. Aoi closes her eyes in anticipation and soon Koki’s tongue was delving in her mouth. She felt himself being pressed down the couch. Aoi opens her eyes; the fear might be showing because Koki seems to understand.
“Do you mind?” Koki asks, a hand moving down to cup her butt and it is all but implied. The young woman shakes her head and closes her glazed eyes again before surrendering to Koki’s touch. Her soft whimper enough to ignite the fire even further. The baggy clothes now scattered all over the living room sofa and the low table nearby. The graphics artist, creating his own image of how their love was to be shared. He slowly let his hands roam her smooth skin, her pulse quickened at the softes touch. Aoi was new to this yet it all seemed so right, making her nerves tingle so explicitly delicious that she wouldn't have had the courage to stop Koki even if she wanted to. But what was the point in that? She wanted this, his love. She let her hands roam his skin slowly raking her nails down his back. A wild, agonized groan coming from Koki, breaking away from the kiss. Aoi trembled underneath him as Koki breathed her name before letting his lips explore every patch of exposed skin. It was insanity not to want more than what he could give now.
Koki could no longer restrain himself when her hands gripped him snugly, tentatively playing with it. The groan became a loud cry, it was a good thing that the loud pounding of the rain outside muffled it. Aoi was surprised that she almost let go but Koki took over her hand, releasing his urgency from her grasp.
"Aoi.." his eyes asked the question.
"Please.. Koki..." her arms wrapped around his neck as he let him sink into her warmth. And the dance of love started, slowly and sensuously he slips his length into her over and over. The molten lava pushing itself up to the limits. Koki picks up the pace as the loud pouring of the rain outside overpowers Aoi’s moans. Soon, the heat overflows and Aoi screams in a surprising high pitch as her toes curl with Koki’s final thrust. Heavy breaths as their peaks subsided for the last tremors. They lay spent on the couch, keeping each other warm from the cold rainy night.
~**~
The next morning, Aoi opens her eyes and gets greeted by the constant rise and fall of Koki’s chest. She untangles herself from Koki’s embrace and rolls off the couch. She puts Koki’s oversized shirt back on and wanders around the apartment. Enters Koki’s room to have a look and gets a pleasant surprise with what’s inside.
Stuck on the walls of Koki’s room are their pictures, though mostly of herself which were definitely stolen shots. Photos of her while he was cleaning in the shop, while serving to other customers, while laughing with his colleagues. Photos of Aoi while sleeping peacefully in the bus, even the different profiles of her face. All taken magnificently, he even thinks if Photoshop has something to do with them.
She looks at how all the photos covered the walls artistically and then starts to realize why Koki is not so good with words. Emotions were all found in his photos, enough for her to know that it’s love. Almost in tears when a pair of familiar arms wraped around her waist.
“Don’t get mad. I wasn’t stalking. Promise…” Koki whispers softly in her ear turning the woman to face him.
Aoi gives him a good morning kiss before smiling sweetly. “I don’t mind Koki. I don’t mind.”

It was aleady 4 am in their apartment in Shibuya-ku, but Masaki was still hunched over his laptop. He was clumsily trying to type in english, brow furrowed in deep concentration that he barely noticed the time. He had to help out, its the only way he could think of thanking them. He can hear Sho grinding his teeth from the bed they shared. The rapper's shirt was already rumpled and bunched up is torso. The bedclothes in disarray around him as his hand rached out for Masaki's side of the bed. Feeling nothing but the cool sheets next to him, he was roused from his sleep.
"M-Masaki..?", Sho sat up rubbing his eyes. His newly trimmed hair sticking out in different funny directions. Masaki almost fell from his seat in front of his laptop at the deep sound of Sho's voice.
"Oh..I thought you were still asleep..its still early..." he stuttered in reply, trying to close the laptop down. He smiled nervously back at his Sho-chan.
"Sou ka...." The rapper looks at the clock next to be bed then back at Masaki," then why are you up? Nani sore?"
"Ahhh~ b-betsu ni" the younger one says with a genki grin. Sho is already suspicious but lets it go, he knew better than to pry. Aiba on the other hand was dying to tell him anyway by the looks of him. Sho just got up from the bed and counted in his head. Five. four. Three. Two. One.
"Ok. I'll tell you", the taller one cried out all of a sudden, pouting up at Sho who was standing in his pajamas.
"Nani?" Sho's deep voice asked.
"Anou~ I was trying to help out.."
"Help? Dare ka? Nino? Ohchan? Matsujun?" the older one's face tried to work out who was in trouble.
"Ahhh~ iie.. not them.. Them",Masaki opened the laptop again and the page for the Channel [V] Battle of the Pops stared back at Sakurai Sho. Suddenly the rapper burst out laughing.
"You're... voting for us?" the rapper said in between chuckles.
"Mou~ Chigau yo!!" Masaki pouted and turned to the laptop, trying to go back to what he was doing. Trying to copy from a note pad and replying to this other person on YM. Sho was so amused at the thought but then let his chuckles die down as he saw his love's determined expression.
"Ne...Masaki.." Sho peered over Aiba's shoulder, bending over to rest his chin on the taller one's shoulder. Masaki kept silent as he desperately tried to ask this other person over the YM and started to go over other sites methodically. Sho nodded, he understood what Masaki was doing and hugged his neck.
"I just wanted to help out..." Masaki started to say,"Do you see how hard the fans are trying to vote for us?"
The tallest Arashi member let the cursor click on other screens showing posts from forums, blogs and networking sites asking for votes for their group. Sho smiled, his chest felt like it was tightening. He understood, pulling away from Aiba.
"What's more this girl....is really nice.." Masaki showed a post of a fangirl.
"Oi~ be careful ne..."Sho warned.
"Daijoubu I used a gaijin name...Cris.." he showed his YM window.
"Sou.. demou..."
"Tanoshii desu!"Aiba interjected, giggling before turning in his chair to face Sho.
"Eh?"
"It fun. And I'm happy they're doing this for us. They are tired already but they still go on. I want to thank them but...but I can't. So I'll help..This is the only way I can think of, Sho-chan..." At that point, tears began to fall from Masaki's eyes. Sho'face clouded over with concern and understanding. He knelt in front of his love and started to wipe his tears.
"Mah..Mah..I think they already know we thank them for where we are today ne~" he cups Masaki's face and smiles.
"S-sho-chan........."he started crying all over again, leaning forward and falling into Sho's comforting arms.
"My masaki has a very kind heart ne..but too much of a crybaby~"
"Mou~" Aiba collected himself and drew back from Sho, smiling and then pouting a little. He was so cute when he did that.
"Ja let's help them ne~" Sho said as he pulled another chair next and started to open his own macbook. Masaki was nothing but smiles as he started to chat with the fangirl again.
"Ne who are you chatting with?" the rapper asked.
"uhm she's really nice and funny~" Aiba said.
"Sou ka.."
"and she has an avy of you and matsujun in bed"
"EEEEEEEEHHHH?!"

Title: Walking in the Rain
Author: VampyrRep
Rating: G
Type: drabble
Pairing: SakurAiba
It had been raining for a few days now and Masaki was a bit restless. He had asked Sho to go out with him for dinner and after their feast, suggested walking back home to their apartment. The drizzle was very light but the streets were slick with the precipitate. Aiba was wearing his windbreaker over his usual shirt and shorts. His sneakers made squeaky sounds one the pavement as he jauntily walked beside Sho. The older man smiled, he liked his silent moments with Masaki. Then came the younger one's 'bright idea'...
"Ne lets race home to the apartment.." Masaki's face was full of excitement at the thought. He tugged at the had that was holding his impatiently.
"Eeh? We might slip and fall. The street is wet!" Sho countered.
"Mou~ daijobu daiyo.." He pouted in reply and let got of the others hand, bracing himself to start running. "Ja...staato!!"
At that, the taller Arashi member speeds off, Sho had n choice but to sprint after him- slightly lagging behind on purpose to let him win.
"Haiyaku Sho-chaaaaa~" cried out Masaki from afar and as Sho had predicted, Masaki slipped and fell flat on his face with a loud thud.
"MASAKII~!!!" The rapper rushed over and helped the taller one sit up, "daijoubu ka?"
"Itai..."
"Mah...This is what you get for not listening to me and doing whatever you want. Ja..kaeru na" Sho reprimanded Masaki as the older one carried the latter on piggy-back all the way home. Masaki held on, afraid to fall off. He was glad that he had Sho-chan with him. Glad that they had each other. Masaki rested his chin on the crook of Sho's neck and whispered," Sho-chan daisuki".
The rapper smirked and continued walking home,"I know"

"Let's see. Apartment 5-A, iku~" Sho got out and lead the way up the building and into an elevator. It
stopped on the fifth floor and he took her hand. It was a brightly lit hallway and they turned to the left,
stopping a few paces in front of a door that was ajar. Sho knocked lightly on the door, peeking through
the opening before entering with Jamie in tow. The girl was obviously tired but the room was enough to
jolt her awake. They took off their shoes and put the slippers on. It was fully furnished, contemporary
japanese style and enough for two people at the most. Jamie took a few steps towards the sofa, letting
the rapper's hand go reluctantly.
"Where are we?" she asked as she marveled at the place. The room had a soft glow to it, with the light
from the spherical paper lantern in one corner of the room. The off white sofa looked inviting to her tired
legs and so did the navy blue and red throw pillows. The low simple oak coffee table in the center of the
living room was covered with frosted glass. There was a bay window on one side with gauzy white
drapes. She wanted to sit there but instead walked a bit futher to what seemed to be the kitchen. It was
a bit compact but roomy enough. The gas range was new and so was the small fridge next to it. She
opened the door of the refrigirator and saw a few food items there. She wondered since it seemed a bit
lived in and turned around. The curly-haired girl saw Sho's figure reading something from the black
folder he was holding. He sat down and propped his socked feet onto the table. In simple words, the
place seemed like it was his. But it can't be...He still lived with his parents...right? Her head was racing
with questions and doubts.
"This is your contract but I'm not sure if you're up to reading this at the moment. Why don' you go check
your room ne? You seem tired already" Sho suggested as he read through the papers. Jamie nodded
meekly since she did feel sore from all the dancing and the alcohol she downed the entire evening. She
opened the door of the bedroom and felt around the wall for the light switch, she couldn't find one. Jamie
shrugged her shoulders as her eyes adjusted to the darkness. Light from the streetlamp outside poured
through the windows. The room was big enough to fit the queen-sized bed, the bedside tables at each
end, the entertainment center opposite the bed and two cabinets adjacent to the bed. One of which has
also a dressing table. The girl wondered if she would need all of it since she would be away most of the
time. Letting out a sigh, she peered out into the street below before walking to another door that was the
bathroom. This time, there was a light switch. Jamie flicked it on and looked in, it was ok. There was
the normal shower heater, tub, the toilet and the lavatory basin. The designs following the zen stlye of
the rest of the apartment. She turned on the hot water in the tub and reached for the cabinet. Yappari, it
was full of toiletries. She picked out a bubble bath oil, pouring a small amount into the hot water and
tested it. She nodded and turned on the cold water a bit and turned around to get her towel from her
backpack. Jamie was wary that Sho might come in and locked the bedroom door before slowly, like she
was accustomed to, stripped off her clothes and wrapped herself into it, however small it may be. She took her glasses off and tried, yet again to find a light switch when something seems to be in her way and grabbed her from behind.
"Ahhh~" she squealed in surprise.
"I wasn't expecting this.." a familiarly low voice whipered into her ear.
"S-sho.." Jamie's voice hitched in her throat, he was taking off the scrunchie that gathered her hair. The girl was shaking and nervous to say the least.
"Sssssshhhh... Daijoubu..." his voice was silky smooth, his hand snaking into the flap of her towel and resting on the bend of her waist.
Sho was indeed surprised himself when Jamie suddenlt bolted the door and undressed like that. He was only a man, for goodness' sake. What did she expect him to do? Turn around and not look? Well, he did think about that but he was rooted on the spot unable to blink nor move. He only found the courage to hold her when she reached for him. Well it looked like that to him, but she obviously didn't or she wouldn't be doing what she did just now. It was dark and he didn't see her fist as it hit his jaw. He doubled over.
"If you think you can get away with this, I don't think so!" Jamie was seething. To think that he could just come in and do that irritated her. "I'll read my contract later and please do go home Sho.."
"But this IS home..." he said as he got up and clapped, making the lamps from the bedside tables light up. They casted a soft glow on them both. Sho could see her clearer now.
"Eh? You brought me here? I thought you stayed with your parents still..." she stuttered.
"I do go home there sometimes but I've started living on my own a year ago. But since you're here...I'm letting you use my apartment. You wont need to rent anymore" He rubbed his jaw.
She was aghast and angry at the same time. A big jumble of feelings, but in the end she reached out for him. "D-daijoubu? "
"You do pack quite a punch ne?" Sho chuckled and let her fuss over him.
"Gomen. I don't just let people touch me. Anou~ I should go home to my cousin instead. This isn't right. I won't let you play the sugar daddy. Its not right." the girl went to gather her clothes but Sho touched her hand.
"Stay here. Its very expensive to be renting a place ne. The jimousho will pay for this in any case so...its like your benefit as well" he explained.
"Mou~ where will you sleep?"
"Ahh...next to you?"
"YADA!!!"
"Doushite?"
"I think this isn't going right..."
"Ok...Ok.. I'll sleep in the sofa. Its comfy enough. I insist. Please stay..." his eyes looked into hers, asking the same question.
"Mou~ Fine. But just for tonight..I'll go back to my cousin's tomorrow."
"Alright" he hugged her again.
"Anou~ could you please...uhm..go out while I...."
"Ahh...sou ne.." he nods and kisses her hair before unlocking the door. Jamie proceeds to bolt the door before taking her bath and dressing in her pajamas. It was not twenty minutes when she finally unlocked to door again to peek at what Sho was doing. She saw him lying on the sofa still not changing his clothes, how could he have anyway. She crept closer and touched his face.
"Shosuki?" she tried waking him, to no avail. She just took off his socks and tried taking his jacket off. That's when he groggily woke up.
"Hmm? Jamie-chan?" he said.
"Ne change your clothes before sleeping..." the girl said softly. Sho nodded and stood to change before plopping onto the bed. She just let him stay there and took the sofa instead. She thought of what happened that day and smiled before drifting off to sleep.
