{Yume1 Chapter10: new beginnings..continued}

Annie was checking her mobile for emails when her eyes widened in shock.  It was from KONAMI, the gaming development company.  She had applied online the week before as an artist and was only waiting for the reply.  Her heart pounded as she was waiting for the message to open. She got hired!  The message told her to wait for further details.  She was all giddy as she was reading the message in her keitai that she got off the bed,jumping up and down, squealing in glee.  The other girls were just waking up that morning when they heard her.
"Doushite?" Kathy asked as she rubbed her eyes, trying to reach for her glasses.  Lhukie was still yawing as she stared at the scene unfolding in front of her, unclear of what was really happening.
"I got the job!!" the tall girl let out as she hugged the two girls on the bed, almost suffocating them.
"Eh?  Majide?!  Is that the one you told us about last month?" Tina said as she sat up from the bed.  Meann in turn, stood up and started jumping up and down on the bed crying,"onedetou"
"We must celebrate!  Tonight after the concert, we'll paint the town....in rainbow colors!!!" Kathy said as she hugged her friend.  Congratulations were exchanged and the girls got ready to watch the ARASHI concert that afternoon.  But based on Kathy's experience, it would be better to be really early to get in early and get the concert goods so they'd be able to enjoy the concert without rushing.
"Why can't Jamie join us?  I mean she has the backstage pass badges right?" Tina asked as they were having their brunch at a fastfood nearby.
"Well, she sent me an email last night that she had things to deal with today and she only got a ticket for next sunday and was going to have it exchanged with another fangirl" Annie explained after taking a bite of her burger.
"Who is she exchanging it with, do you know?" asked the spectacled Katz, sipping on her green iced tea.
"She didn't say who it was but I know the fangirl was coming today from Germany.  The other fangirl got a ticket for next month and another for tomorrow.  So Jamie's getting two tickets.  I just wonder what she'll be doing with the other one...." the tall graphics artist muttered.
"Hmmm...in any case, as long as we get to watch tomorrow's concert with Jamie, its all good with me." Katz replied happily.  Soon the girls finished their meal and hurried up for the bus stop, its a long way to Tokyo dome.

Jamie had just hung up the denwa from talking to her Mama in Manila.  She was crying, she missed her Mama so much and it was really bad that she had to make up a lie to her just to stay in tokyo longer.  I got a job here in Tokyo, Mama!! I'm so excited, can i stay for a while please? I mean, my employer is arranging for my visa to be changed and i'm going to study Nihongo more, is it ok?  I'll come back home to Manila if you want me to, Jamie had said to her mom.  She could hear the false excitement in her mom's voice. A deep sigh came from her, why did she have

to tell her mom that?  Well her mom was quite happy for her.  But she knew that her mama will also be very lonely.  She wished she could take her mom with her, the silent sobs wouldn't cease.  At that moment, her keitai rang.  it was Nanao-chan.  She was ringing about the tickets probably.  Jamie's curls bobbed as she took her glasses off and wiped her tear-stained face before answering the call and putting her glasses back on.  "Hai?", she has to deal with this if she wanted to watch the concert tomorrow.

Sho hardly got any sleep but he was used to that now.  Although today he was especially happy and energetic.  He was going to see her after the concert.  The rapper silently wished for the first time that someone would be able to make a fancam of what he was going to say at MC that night.  Aiba passed by and gave him a pat on the back, and smiled conspirationally.  They were ready.  Jun had just finished his solo and now they were about to sing another set of three songs, the last one being Jamie's favorite.  Its never been sung in any of their concerts since its wasn't released as a main single.  Sho had been adamant it be added to their song list that the band had to learn the song quickly.

the lights focused on ARASHI as the song ended all five of them on different parts of the stage.  Jun and Ohno leaning on each other's back, Nino sitting at the top of a steel ladder and SakurAiba singing into just one mic.  The lights brightened up as the 5 came to the middle of the stage for the MC part of the concert. 
"Yeah! Yeah! Tokyooooooooo..." Sho yelled into his mic.  The crowd of fangirls cheered.
"Oi...its our first time to sing that last song in a concert ne?" Nino asked the others.
"Hai.  Its a really nice song that Sho suggested to be included last minute.  I wonder why." Matsujun smirked as he glanced at their rapper. 
"Well its for all the ladies" Sho smiled his most dazzling one and the girls in the dome really squealed.
"Hontou?  Is it not for anyone specific?" Jun smirked as Sho's smile faded.
"I know..it's for me ne Sho-kun?" Aiba walked over behind the rapper and wrapped an arm around his neck.
"Yeah, you could say that.  But its more for the ladies out there"
"Sou ka" Aiba's face fell and so did his arm around Sho.
"Eh...nande?" the rapper wondered why he moved away.
"Betsu ni..." Aiba said noncahalantly.  As he moved over beside Jun.
"Ahh....I think we have a tantrum here...you hurt Aiba-chan's feelings Sho-kun!!" Jun implied as his smirk grew.  It was ll part of their MC that night.  They knew that the fangirls would love to see them like that.  Sho knew that Jamie liked seeing him and Aiba together.  He didn't mind since Aiba was a good friend and they knew they would never go there, inasmuch as fans would want them to.  Soon it was time for solos again and so they went back stage to change.  It was Aiba's solo up next so he hurriedly changed as the others got their bit of rest.  Sho went over to Jo-chan, his PA.
"Ne Jo-chan, has Jamie-chan come yet?"he asked.
"Mou...nobody's asked for you yet.  Is she nice?" the petite girl asked her boss.
"Ahh..she's very nice and pretty and friendly.  You'll like her" he smiled as he described his love to Jo-chan.  The young PA was a bit envious since she liked Sho-kun for the longest time. But she was happy he finally stopped playing around.  She was actually excited to meet the girl he couldn't stop talking about since the accident.  Her boss was so bouncy and giddy all the time now, it made her job easier and it made him look cuter than ever.  Sho moved to take his 'the SHOW' towel since he was a bit sweaty already.  Jo-chan handed him his next costume, the back shiny one.  He shrugged it on and grinned idiotically at his PA, who could swear that she was melting inside from it and just excused herself and started fixing his costumes.  At around 10pm it was already encore and someone from the sounds people ushered in a tall and lanky girl.  She looked like a foriegner, big brown curls and nice bright brown eyes.  She was a bit shy and hesitant about being there in the room and just bowed slightly at the nice young man who helped her find the dressing room.
"Anou~ is Shosuki..eto~ Sho-kun here?" she started to ask but giggled and continued," what am i asking, of course

he's here..I mean..is he still on stage?"
"Ah..hai..the encore is about to end soon, its their second one for the night and I dont think they're doing another

set" the petite PA explained.
"Ah..sou ka..is it alright for me to wait for him here?" the tall girl asked.
"Douzo.  Please sit down here.  You must be the one my boss was talking to me about earlier, Jamie-san deshou?"

Jo-chan smiled as she cleared a place on the sofa for the visitor.  The foreigner was taken aback by the comment

but just smiled.
"Hai.  Hajimemashite.  Anou~ sumimasen but Shosuki..er..Sho-kun didn't tell me who you are."  Jamie bowed

slightly before sitting down.
"Ah..Hajimemashite.  I'm Jo-chan, his Personal Assistant.  I'm usually at hand for concerts or for shoots but I'm

around most of the time.  Yoroshiku onegaishimasu" she replied with a big smile.
"Yoroshiku na.  I've always wanted your job when I was back home.  Just being around him and helping him,"

Jamie giggled as the other plopped down beside her. 
"Hontou?  It's ok, my work.  Sho-kun is very nice and very easy to talk to.  He asks me if I'm getting tired and he's

really close to his siblings" her eyes had that certain look as she spoke about him.
"Can I be frank with you, Jo-chan?"
"H-hai"
"You like Sho-kun, don't you?" Jamie said with a conspiratory smile, nudging the girl beside her but then stopped

herself from being too familiar and added," ahhh...sumimasen.  I'm being rude."
"N-no.  I guess I can never hide my feelings for him.  I think he's aware of it himself but just really considers me

as an employee" her new friend's face fell.
"Mou..I don't think he's like that.  I mean he may think of you as a very good friend and companion since you said

he's really nice ne" Jamie encouraged her, this put a smile on the younger woman's face.
"Mah..Sho-kun is right about you. You're nice like him." Jo-chan beamed.
"E-eto~ I'm just saying the truth..."the older woman wasn't able to answer as they could hear the screams of the

fangirls above and soon guys were came down to the dressing room all tired but happy.  Sho's eyes lit up as he

saw Jamie sitting beside his PA.
"Ah..you're here" he strode over and kissed a very surprised Jamie on the cheek.
"S-shosuki..." she blushed lightly, a bit shy at the spectacle they were making of themselves in front of the others.
"Uwah!! Jamie-chan!!"Aiba squealed, obviouly happy to see her.  Jun just gave her a wink and that kawaii smirk

he had.  Nino waved and put his arm around Ohno's shoulder, who smiled at her before going to their PA's and

gathered their things.
"So you've met my PA, Jo-chan.  She's really a lot of help to me, I'm glad she's around really" the rapper said.
"See?!?" the older woman gave and i-told-you-so look to the PA, and in turn the other gave a giggle.
"Is there something I'm missing here?" a very confused Sho asked.
"Ah..I'll explain later ne" Jamie said.
"Oh...alright" he said before turning to Jo-chan to ask,"ne did you take it with you? or did we leave it in the van?"
"Ah..sumimasen.  It's it the van, in the front passanger seat.  Shall I get it?" the PA flustered, getting up to go

towards the door.
"Daijoubu, let's just put all my stuff in the van and I'll do the rest.  Gokurosama, Jo-chan" he replied, very

thankful of her help.
"Hai.  I've packed most of the stuff already.  I'll just ask the big guys outside to take them to the van.  It's great to

finally meet you Jamie-chan.  I have a feeling I'll be seeing more of you.  Matta ne!" the PA waved goodbye.
"Great talking to you as well, Jo-chan.  Hope to see you again"
"Hai. Shitsurei shimasu." the younger woman said as she left after taking Sho's stuff to his van.
"Matta ne" the rapper waived goodbye,"lets go too Jamie.  I have something for you."
"Eeeeh?" the girl was puzzled as to what it was since she hated getting things from guys.  She was only being

polite when accepted gift from Jun.
"Oi, minna.  Otsukaresama, let's do this again tomorrow night ne.  Ja, shitsurei shimasu." Sho said to the others. 
"Mah.  I hope to see you again Jamie-chan" Aiba poked the girl's shoulder and smiled. 
"Matta ne" She just nodded as the others waved goodbye.  Her love just laced her hand through his and led her

out of the dressing room.  They passed a lot of people, Sho nodded and said goodbye to some of the juniors they

saw until they got out to the back entrance and to his white van.  That's the only time he let go of her hand and

opened the door.  They climbed in and Jamie almost sat on a big rectangular box.  It was a bit heavy.  Sho noticed

her holding it on her lap.
"Ah.. open it.  I got that for you" he explained as she opened the box.  It was a sleek, black, top of the line laptop.
"Eeeeh?  NO!!  I don't like taking presents from my...k-kareshi!" Jamie let out.
"Eh?  Demo nande?" Sho couldn't understand why.  From experience, girls loved getting gifts from their

boyfriends.  This was highly odd.
"I don't want the guys to think that's why I said yes.  For the gifts.  If i wanted something, I'd buy it myself.  I'm

sorry Shosuki.  I know its rude but I can't accept this.  I'm the weirdest girl you'll ever meet really." she explained.
"Sou ka.  But I wanted you to have this so even if i'm far you can still reach me.  And I thought you'd like to be in

touch with your Okachan back home.  And if in case you'll need this when you get a job here in Tokyo" Sho had a

very well thought out gift.  He didn't want it to be the usual jewelry.  He wanted something Jamie would need. 

Like he needed her.
"Hmmm...you're the first person who actually thought of reasons why you're giving me something.  Doumo

arigatou.  I'll accept this but please no more presents, Shosuki.  I can't match what you give me but I'll just try to

show you how I appreciate it"  Jamie then set the laptop on the dashboard and reached out to him.  He came closer

and leaned over her, letting her arms wrap around his neck as his went around her waist.  Their lips met, softly at

first then slowly lettting their emotions run away, getting deeper more hungry.  Sho's hand wandered underneath

Jamie's blouse.  That's when the tall girl pulled away, trying to stop him from going any further.  It was too early

in the game for that, in her opinion.
"Nani?" Sho's voice was so low and it made her nerves tingle.
"Yamette kudasai.  I just wanted to thank you with a kiss.  But..." she started, all flushed with emotions.
"Ah...gomenasai.  I got too carried away.  I.." he was about to say that he wanted more but stopped and

disentangled himself from her arms, gunning the engine.  Jamie fixed her blouse and hair before putting the

laptop back into the box and cradling it on her lap.  Sho drove out of the parking lot onto the traffic.
"Its alright.  I'm sorry Shosuki.  Just not yet please" Jamie glanced at him.
"Daijoubu.  I'm not going to force you into doing something you're not ready for"  He was trying to concentrate on

driving since looking at her meant longing for more.
"Sou ne.  Anou~ you can just drop me off there" she pointed at the corner of her street.
"No.  I'll drive you home" Sho said as he turned into her street.  She didn't protest any further as he stopped a few houses down the block.  She was getting ready to get out of the car when she remembered to turn towards him again.
"Oyasumi, my Shosuki" she whispered planting a quick kiss on his lips before getting out of the van. 
"Oyasumi, Jamie.  Dream of me ne" Sho didn't argue since any more than that would make his resolve crumble.  He drove away when he saw Jamie waving in her bedroom window.  He heard his keitai ringing when he turned another corner, it was Aiba.
