{Yume#1 Chapter 9.1: Stay}

Jamie's flight was leaving in two hours so the girls still had time to chat.  Still Jamie wanted to be on time and checked in her bag and also had her sling bag inspected.  She was talking to Annie and Katz when she thought she heard someone calling her name.  She must have been hallucinating to have thought so.  But there it was again, that same voice.  It got louder, more distinct.  That deep voice she listened to everyday when she woke up in the morning and before she drifted off to sleep.  "Jamie-chan!!!", it was Sho's voice.  She knew it all too well but just shrugged it off.  It can't be real but then she saw the look in the eyes of the girls she was talking to, all shocked and wide-eyed.  She turned around and like a wave of the ocean, got smothered into his strong arms.

"Jamie-chan..." his voice soft as a whisper as his arms held her tightly, she heard the loud pounding of his heart.  Or was it her own, if it was it was overly strong.

"Please don't leave...", he murmured into her hair.  Sho was a jumble of feelings, relief that he was able to reach Jamie in time, anxious at how she might react after holding her in his arms, sad that at the thought that she might say something that might crush his heart into a million pieces.  It may only be no more than one week to most people.  But spending most of his free time talking to her, had been like a drug.  She was always smiling and bubbly, even if she didn't really feel well, it was contagious.  She made him feel a bit better at the end of a really stressful
day.  They'd joke about what other people considered boring.  She understood him and listened intently at what he had to say.  And right now she felt soft and warm in his arms, he missed it from their embrace last night.  Had it only been last night?  It seemed such a long time ago, his heart skipped a beat remembering how her lips tasted like, so soft and sweet.  What he'd do to keep her this way, he thought.

Jamie was now in a panic, she wondered how Kathy would react.  How she was going to disentagle herself from Sho's embrace, she wondered.  Trying to fight the urge to hug him back, she just shut her eyes and took a deep breath, hoping against hope that he'd let go soon.  She knew he liked her, or so he says but she pushed it out of her mind.  She didn't want any complications in her already complicated life.  Not that she didn't like him.  She didn't even think of herself worthy of someone like him.  He was all that she could ever wish for in a man.  He was kind, caring, highly intelligent,funny, he's musically inclined, he loves kids...and the list goes on...but she had to stop herself when she felt her pulse quicken..when she remembered what happened this morning.  His lips against hers. DAME!  That's when the flashes of lights came.  He let her go, she opened her eyes and looked on in shock. Paparazzi.  Immediately, Sho bolted into action.  Taking her hand and running away from the scene, leaving Annie and Kathy who tried to stop the two photographers who were taking their pictures.  The Jamie was a bit slow with her limp that Sho stopped to pick her up.  She gave a surprised squeal, putting her arms around his neck as he ran towards the main entrance and put her down gently on front of Aiba's car.  The younger Arashi member was agape at the sight of the two, wondering why they were running that way.
"D-doushita? " Aiba asked as he looked from the two, then noticed a commotion in the distance.  Sho opened
the car door and got in.
"Paparazzi" the rapper said.  It was all that he needed to say for his bandmate to understand.  Sho then motioned
for Jamie to get in.  The tall girl was looking where to sit since Aiba was driving and Sho was in the passanger seat
of the two-seater sports convertible.
"Hurry Jamie-chan, get in!" Sho motioned for her to sit on his lap.
"Eeeeh?" She exclaimed, she couldn't even begin to imagine how he could think she'd do that, "Yada!"
Aiba saw the hurt expression on his friend's face, he just had to intervene, " Ne Jamie-chan.  Paparazzi?Sho-kun?"
The tall girl turned around to glance at the commotion in the airport.  Aiba had a point, she'd rather choose the
lesser evil.  After a deep sigh, she got in and gingerly sat sideways on Sho's lap uneasily holding onto the car seat's
head rest.
"Yosh!" Aiba let out as he gunned the engine.
"Iku yo", Sho said pulling Jamie closer then whispered into her ear," lean your head on my shoulder.  You'll get tired
holding onto that."
Her heart pounded, she should have just stayed in tyhe airport and gone home.  Home to manila.  She should have
just turned and walked away when she still had the time.  But she's here now, sitting on no other than Sakurai Sho's
lap.  She blushed profusely, getting dizzy, she lay her head in the crook of his neck.  Sho smiled, his heart soared,
giddy like a kid getting a present he wanted.  He kissed her hair again, she smelled lovely.  That same sweet cherry
blossom scent reminding him of last night again.  How he wished he could do that again.  Jamie blushed as she felt
his cheek rest on her head.  This is sooooo not right, she thought.  Where were they headed anyway?  Her question
was answered when Aiba soon pulled over in the parking lot of one of the tall buildings in Tokyo.

Author's note: its the end of my shift already...so yeah..i am famished..i shall go home and have some ramen..wheeee..
so..matta ashita minna..hope you enjoy the 1st part of this chapter..it will be continued later..i have a feeling this is
going to be a bit like Hikari-chan's with a lot of sequels since i plan to tackle the lives of the rest of arashi as well...
