yume #1 part2
part 2: {day 1 in Tokyo ~ Abunai!}
2 hours later we board the plane to Tokyo , Japan all giddy and happily chattering. Upon landing we boarded a big van taxi provided by the hotel that minna were staying at. We chattered all the way there and pointed out places we recognized in some of the jdoramas we've watched. After they got off of the taxi, Matsujen-neechan asked the driver to take her to my cousin. I tried to refuse but she was adamant. I was informed by the fluently English-speaking driver that it was included in the days' services to take all of the passengers safely to their destination. I was happy and said goodbye to minna. The driver took off with a nod after reading the address on the paper i had. I'll be staying at my cousin's place. She married a Japanese national and has 2 boys. Cute little things. I'll tell her to have them apply to JE. Lolz! as if their businessman father would allow that. I was always afraid of him. He was really tall and burly. But always smiling.
We were at the less busy streets when the lights turned green at the intersection. The van was already in the middle of the road when a silver sports car came rushing at us from the left side. The van swerved i heard myself scream and then blacked out. I can hear someone speaking to me in Nihongo. I felt someone picking me up and carrying me then I blacked out again.
Then I saw a bright light. My head was heavy. My body hurt or was that just because i was exercising too much yesterday???
I heard someone speak in Nihongo. Could bare make out what she said. When the haze cleared, I saw that I was in a white room. Someone in white came in. She said, "Are you ok?!"
I replied, "Is this heaven???"
The lady giggled. She was older by about 10 years or so. But she was really pretty dark hair and very light green eyes. Reminds me of LOTR for some reason.
"Daijoubu ne... You're still alive..." fixing the sheet over me, "You're in the hospital. You got into an accident."
"EEEeehhh????" holding my head. So that's why my head hurts.
"You speak English?"
"Yes I do. I'm half-Irish actually. I grew up here but my mom talks to me in English."
"Oh someone's waiting for you to wake up...actually there's two of them." she gave me a wide grin. "Lemme call them for you"
"Chotto matte kudasai...Onamae wa?"
"Ah Rika O'rourke...i'll call the boys in..." she opens the door and waives to someone.
Boys?? Must be her 2 nephews but then their Okasa, her cousin must be with them. I patted my hair and the dressing gown i wore and noticed that is was satin and one that I've never seen before. I just shrugged and waited for the little ones.
The Rika came back in followed by two very tall guys. And I couldn't believe who they were. ITS SAKURAIBA!!! I almost fainted again. I couldn't say anything. I was opening and closing my mouth over and over like a fish. And when i realized it i just shut my mouth. They were both smiling at me. I gazed from Sho to Aiba and back. I still couldn't believe my eyes. The silence seemed like forever. Then Sho broke the silence. He knew I spoke mainly English and was explaining how sorry they were.
"Hajimemashite, Sakurai Sho desu. We are really sorry for what happened this morning. We were in a hurry to get to our next appointment. I know that it's wrong to make excuses but please od accept our apologies." Bows low. Aiba does the same. I just noticed that they were both holding flower bouquets.
"Yessu. Beri sorry."
I almost cried. I just stopped myself. My eyes were already brimming with tears. I finally mustered enough strength to speak, "Ehh?? Betsu ni. Daijoubu desu ne. I'm alive. Please stop that. I'm very grateful to both of you. I came to Japan today so that I can watch you both and the others this week. Now I'm happy that both of you are here."
They both looked up when they heard me speak in halting Nihongo and well more of Sho listened actually. I was waving for them to come closer to the bed when I realized that I was not wearing a bra. Yabai! I grabbed the pillow next to me and held it tight. They both chuckled but came closer. I couldn't imagine a prettier sight. SAKURAIBA in the flesh...in arms reach!!
