{Yume 1 chapter 9.3: Stay}

"Eh?" she nervously let out, her head looked away from him.  Sho's hand lifted her chin up to meet his gaze,
"What do I really mean to you, Jamie-chan?"
"I..i...." Jamie wanted to say the words so much, her lips parted but nothing came out.  Her eyes were pleading
for him to understand how she was dying to be in his arms again.  How she wished things were different.  Sho's
hand that cupped her chin slid along her jawline as he brushed his lips gently against hers.  Her eyes fluttered
closed as her parted lips accepted his kiss.  It said everything, how they both felt .  How they wanted it to go on
forever.  The tall girl's arms went of their own accord around her ichiban's neck as his lips smiled in the kiss. 
His  hands slipped around her waist pulling her closer, the kiss getting deeper.  It was Jamie who broke away,
trying to catch her breath, her head reeling at the jumble of feelings.  They were still tangled in each other's
arms when she looked into his smiling eyes.
"You still haven't answered" the rapper was still waiting for her reply.  It seemed like the longest minute of his
life, just waiting for her to say the words.  After a deep sigh of regret, his face slowly turning from the smile
into hurt.  His hold around her loosened but she wouldn't let him go but buried her face in his chest.
"Suki dai yo"  the girl said softly.  Her voice was muffled that Sho could hardly make out what she was saying.
"Eh?" he coulnd't believe his ears.
"Please don't make me say it again"
"But i can't hear what you were saying.  What was that?"  He asked, his arms wrapping around her once again.
"I said...suki dai yo"  the girl turned her face up and whispered into his ear.  Her blushing face gave everything
away as he pulled away slightly.
"You do?  You truly do?" His eyes lit up as the words made his heart soar.
"Yes.  I always have.  Well, its the you that the public sees and that i know of.  I don't really know you that well
at all if it all really came down to it" Jamie replied.
"I know its all so sudden and I've been thinking about this over and over since this morning" he chuckled, "Would
you give me time to get to know you more?  I know you're having second thoughts about all this.  Its weird for
me too, believe me. But lets give us a chance, please go out with me, Jamie-chan"
"But i'm leaving soon.  I mean I'm only here for a week tops!" the girl's face a troubled, biting her lower lip, trying
to think of a way around their dillema.  Not to mention her broken promise to her friend, Kathy.
"Your visa had been extended to six months if Jun-chan hadn't told you yet" he smiled at the thought of having her
near him for a much longer time.
"W-what did you say? How did that happen?  And what am I going to do here in Tokyo for six months?"  Her eyes
widened in surprise.
"Well..I have to thank Jun-chan for all of this.  It would never have happened if he hadn't meddled with you
and got me angry.  I hit him yesterday because of that visa thing, i must remember to apologize." he said as she
moved away to lean on the car door again.
"Majide?  Ohmigod!  Poor Doumyoji Momo!"  she gasped, suddenly very troubled.
"Daijoubu, he's still alive.  I didn't maim him or anything.  I still restrained myself yesterday." the tall rapper explained.
"Sou ka.  But I can't stay in Tokyo.  I mean...I want to stay..." she sighed then turned to Sho," could i think this one
over please?"
"Staying?  Or us?"  his face clouded over with concern, he wasn't going to let her get away again.
"Just the staying part, Shosuki.  I'll try to think of a way to stay, for you...for us..." Jamie tried saying her pet name
for him to see how he would react.
"Ahh...sou.." he replied then looked back at her," what did you call me?"
"S-sho..suki.." the girl smiled as he said his name again. 
"Shosuki?" he said it to himself and chuckled.  Its a funny name but he understood since she did mention before
that Jamie had pet names for him and the rest of the guys.  He just didn't expect it to be that cute.  He even loved
the way she said it.
"Mou..let's go..You're very late for your photoshoot and I need to talk to my cousin about extending my stay here.
  Not to mention you're already making fun of me." Jamie said as she moved to get into the car but Sho didn't budge
from leaning on the car door but only faced her and leaned in to take her lips again in another lingering kiss.
"I'm not laughing at you," he said as he pulled away and smiled widely, "I just find you and all that you say and do very cute."
"Oh..alright.. and stop doing that." she said moving away from him and getting onto the passenger seat.
"Doing what?" the tall man asked as he walked around the car and got into the driver's seat, gunning the engine.
"Smiling that way...I melt whenever I see it." she said shyly as she settled herself into her carseat.
"But I can't help that, Jamie" he chuckled again as he pulled out of the cove and onto the highway.
"I know...its just that the doki doki is worse up close.  I'm having a hard time breathing already" she giggled covering her face again.  Her fangirlish ways were all too endearing to Sho, it was different from the flirty and aggressive girls
she used to go out with, he thought.  He really wanted to make it work this time and she was willing to work it all out
with him.  It was going to be hard, he knew that much.  Thinking of how the rest of the guys, Johnny Kitagawa and
his family might react, it was really going to be a lot of work.
Jamie on the other hand was thinking of how she got herself into another mess.  She didn't want another whirlwind
relationship, it usualy ends up with her heart torn into a million pieces.  But she wanted to try it one last time, to give
Sho a chance.  Give herself a chance again.  They joked as they drove to her cousin's place in Edogawa-ku, Tokyo.
She was about to step out of the car when she turned back to her love and gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
"That's it?!" he pouted, obviously wanting a real kiss again.
"Not in public Sakurai Sho!  Or do you want another scandal?!" the girl hissed as she got out of the car and went into
her cousin's house.  The rapper waited for her to get into the house before driving back to Shibuya-ku, all happy
with the events of the day but nervous as well.  He has his work cut out for him, keeping Jamie permanently his.
