{Yume #1 Chapter 8: a day in our life}

Kathy was crying in the hotel room she shared with the other fangirls as Lhukie was trying to console her.

"How could she not tell us?  At least let us know that ARASHI had been visiting her in the hospital.  That she'd been
sleeping with Shochi!  I mean...that's alright with me...But why lie?" Katz' tears fell like rain.
"Kathy-neechan, maybe Jamie has a  valid reason," Lhukie patted her friend's back.  Kathy's lovely face now tear-stained and upset.  It was painful to see her like this, the younger fangirl thought.  Tina and Annie came in at that point and sat beside Katz and tried to explain Jamie's side.
"She was actually asked by Arashi, specifically by Sho not to tell anyone about visiting her.  We all very well know how
strict the Jimousho is about these things right?," she said.  Everyone was aware of that and how they weren't allowed
to go out as much.
"See that neechan!  So please don't cry anymore, alright?" the young fangirl hugged Kathy.
"So please don't blame Jamie.  You know just how "obedient" she is," Annie giggles nervously then continues,
"She's just doing what she thought is best for everyone."
"But...but how do you explain...?" the sobbing girl asked about the scene they walked into that morning," w-what we saw?  Sho was...
 And Jamie was..."
Katz just leaned on Lhukie's shoulder and cried
"Well....  Jamie is our ero hime..."  Tina suggested.
"Well...yeah..that may well be in her fanfiction work but..."  Annie was quick to defend her friend, "..I mean there must have been a valid reason."
They all looked at each other seemingly with the same question in mind.  Only Kathy was able to ask, "And what would that be?"
"That....  I dunno.."  Annie sat down, a defeated look on her face.  She knew that Jamie wouldn't even come near Sho.
Let alone do kiss him intentionally....unless.....she didn't want to think about it. 
"Let's not muse about this girls.  Why don't we go to the FC building in Shibuya as we planned?!"  Tina suggested.  Kathy nodded and the others agreed as well.  They needed a diversion from the weirdness this morning.  Soon they were in front of the Johnny's Family Club building, trying to get in but being turned away by the security since they couldn't present any FC identification.  Annie's keitai rang and it was Jamie wanting to see her and Kathy.  They waved goodbye to the rest of the girls, leaving Lhuke and Tina who were still waiting around to see if they could spot any of the boys from the Jimousho.  Lhuke was backing away from the security guard when she bumped someone.
"Sumimasen," an all too familiar voice said from behind her.  It sent shivers up and down her spine, too afraid to turn
around and see if it really was him.  But Tina nudged her and turned around slowly, "S-s-sumimasen.."
"We're you trying to get in?" The tall, lanky man asked in nihongo.  Lhuke's brain went into auto-pilot and she replied in perfect japanese as well.
"Y-yes.  The security people wanted us to present club member IDs but we're obviously not from Tokyo", She replied with a but of a flush on the cheeks.
"Ah yeah, that's how strict they are..."  Another voice said from behind Tina.  She recognized it, and out of the corner of her eye, she was him going around her to stand beside his bandmate.
"Ah..how rude of us.  We're Kanjani Eito members," Yoko said, bowing slightly," I'm Yokoyama Yu."
"I'm Nishikido Ryo.  Hajimemashite," he bowed as well.
"Anou~ Granada Lhuke.  Nice to meet you as well," she bowed slightly and waited for Tina to say something. 
She looked over and nudged her back to reality.
"H-hi!,"was all that she said before fainting, falling head first.  Good thing Yoko acted fast and caught her in his arms
and brought her into the FC clinic.

Sho didn't know what to think anymore as he paced Aiba's room like a caged animal.
"Would you please quit that Sho-kun!  You're making me dizzier!", Aiba said as he sipped his tea.
"Sumimasen," Sho replied, as he sat down leaning forward his elbows on his knees, "So what do I do now? What did I do to make her cry?"
"Well...there are a few things i can think of that made her cry..  One, she's never been
kissed before..which i think is funny for someone her age..hehe.. Two,  she's too overwhelmed with your
advances..  Three, she had a really bad experience with guys... Four, you're not her ichiban..." Aiba chuckled at that one and got a menacing glare from Sho.  The younger man proceeded to clear his throat and continued, "or Five, she'll just explain when she feels a bit better..."
"You're not helping Aiba-chan" Sho still glared at his friend then burying his face in his hands, sighed deeply.
"Well..Sho-kun..all you can really do is wait..hopefully Jamie-chan will tell you what you want to hear in in the end," Aiba smiled, trying to cheer up his good friend.  He saw the pain in the older man's eyes, there had been many times before that he had seen Sho feeling very low, but this instance was different.  It was the worst if anything, since the girl that Sho liked seems to have a problem with him.  Which was weird since he was the one she talked to
most of the time.  Not that Jamie-chan really had a choice because Sho was the only one who understood her, Aiba thought as he got up from bed and got ready to go to their practice that day.  Sho borrowed come clothes to wear that day, he was still in his trainers from the day before,  choosing a black v-neck tee and one of Aiba's baggy jeans.  Aiba wore his Tensai Jumper for some weird reason. 

Sho looked at him dubiously as he patted the jumper, "You're sure very genki today to be wearing that"
Aiba grinned widely," I am actualy.  I'm seeing Ma-chan later."
"Good for you two.  It's been a while since I saw her around," Sho sighed in envy, trying his best to smile.
Their conversation went on till they got into Aiba's convertible and sped off into the midday traffic of Tokyo.

Jamie was packing her things into her evening bag as her two friends came in.  Annie and Katz were
surprized that she was clearing up her stuff.  She looked at her friends and smiled her like her old genki
self, waving for them to come in.
"Hey...," the tall curly-haired girl said," come sit down."
The two sat on the sofa just beside the bed.  Katz and Annie eyed her cautiously, unsure of what will happen
next and why she asked to come that late in the morning.  Jamie sat on the ottoman adjacent to the sofa, she was
in what she decided was what she was going to wear for the concert that weekend.  A pale pink blouse and billowy skirt to match the ballet shoes she had never worn all too much.  It was the girliest thing she had, she didn't want to look like the rocker she really was, she told them once.
"Ahh....well you're both here now..." Jamie started, " so...uhm..yeah...I wanted to tell you two since you're the closest
ones to me, that...I'm going back to Manila this afternoon..."
The two started protesting but She held her hands up, trying to calm them and make them listen to her first.
"I know its kinda...uhm..shall we say..abrupt..err..out of the blue or whatever, but yeah...I'm leaving.  I'm leaving.  I know i haven't been very honest with you girls recently.  I think Annie has told you about it
already, ne Kathy?"  the curly haired girl fidgeted with her hair falling over her left shoulder, very nervous
that this might be the last time she'll see her good friend, Katz.  The younger fangirl nodded, opened her mouth
but decided against saying something.

" I know what you're thinking...I haven't gone to the concert yet, I haven't seen them perform on stage which is
what I've been raving to you in all my emails and messages to you, Kathy. Well I've seen them already, I talked to
them already.  I think that's too much for a fangirl already that I can die happily after all this is over," Jamie was
being genki over the whole situation, giggling at their inside joke.  Neither of the two girls said anything, Annie
had her 'dazed ohchan' look again and Katz was all gloomy.

"Oh come on!  We'll see each other soon Annie.  You'll be back in Manila next week and Kathy, we'll be back to
emails and instant messages again." Jamie tried to cheer them up to no avail.  Sighing, she reached for an envelope
from her black body bag and handed it to Kathy.

"What's this?" she asked as she opened the envelope looking at its contents.

"Those are my concert tickets, the backstage passes and money for concert goods as well," Jamie said smiling
at her," and like I always say to minna, if you could have you-know-who FedEx-ed over to my apartment that would
just be sugoi!"

"Why?," Kathy didn't laugh at her joke again but is getting teary-eyed as she held the envelope in her shaky hands,
"why are you giving this to me?"

Jamie's face fell and became serious.  She nodded at Annie, who in turn stood up.
"I'll leave you two for a moment, I'm kinda hungry, I'll just be in the conbini ne," Annie said as she left the room.
Jamie stood from the ottoman and sat beside her younger friend.  Putting an arm around her shoulder and patting
down her hair.

"Kathy...you're one of the most important people in my life ne.  We may not be around each other a lot since you're
here in Tokyo for most of the time," the Sho fangirl said to the other," I also know that what you saw this morning was
really weird and believe me I wouldn't ever go near Sho like that.  You know me Katz.  I can write stuff like that but...but..."

"Hai...I believe you Jamie..." Katz hugs the older one, sniffs as Jamie pats her back.

"Thank you," she hugged back, near tears as well.

"Well..can't you just stay and watch the concert anyway?  I mean.." Kathy treid to persuade her as Jamie pulled away and
got up to walk limping to her bag.  The former getting up as well, holding the envelope in both hands.  The taller girl turned
and walked slowly towards the door, her friend following her.

"As much as I'd like to stay, there are things that I must end now.  I can only do that if I leave," She replied calmly turning
the doorknob, stepping out into the hallway, heading towards the cashier of the hospital.

"But what about him???" Katz asked. 

"Eh? Who? Ah...Well..I'll let you speak to him about it ne,"Jamie smiled at her friend, "I have a not for him in the envelope
as well, if he has any questions.  Just tell him, all i want to say is there."

"Sou ka...." Her friend replied softly as they saw Annie down the hallway.

The traffic eased as Aiba neared Shibuya, passing the hospital where Jamie stayed.  For some reason, Sho had a weird
feeling and just had to see Jamie.
"Aiba-chan, could you turn back please?  I just want to see her smile, just for a bit," Sho had that pleading look that no girl
could resist.  Aiba just chuckled, " Somehow, I knew you were going to say that."  The tall Arashi member nosed the car back
towards the hospital and the moment the convertible stopped in front of the hospital, Sho got out not even bothering to
open that car door but jumping over it instead.  Running into the main lobby and turning towards the elevators.

At that very moment, Jamie and her friends passed through the same hallway out to the front of the hospital and hailed a taxi to Narita Airport.  Aiba recognized the Jamie and instictively reached for his keitai but his hands kept slipping from it.

Sho got out of the elevator and opened Jamie's hospital room hurriedly, " Jamie-cha~!"  He only found an
old lady cleaning up the room.  No sign of any of her things anywhere in the room.
"Anou~ sumimasen obasan, but where is the girl who occupied this room?" Sho asked courteously.  The old
lady looked up and smiled," Oh..the foriegn-looking girl?  I think she got discharged now.  She gone home I should
think.  She says that she's going back to her country."

"Sou ka...thank you obasan.." the rapper turned and left the room, a bit dazed at what he was told.  That's when his
keitai rang, its was Aiba.

"Hai?" the older Arashi member answered as he got into the elevator.

"Anou~ Sho-kun...J-j-jamie-chan...she..i just saw her..she..," Aiba's voice was too excited to be coherent.

"I know...but why didn't you call earlier?!" Sho said into the reciever and hung-up as he ran out of the elevator, the
minute the doors opened.  Not bothering to open the car door again as he jumped into Aiba's convertible.

"Hontouni gomenasai, Sho-kun.  I was supposed to call you earlier but my hands keep slipping off the keitai.  Jamie-chan
was with two other girls,"  Aiba explained as he started the engine.

"Never mind that...just get us to Narita Airport.  She's leaving today at least that's what the old lady told me," Sho said as the
younger Arashi member drove out of the hospital parking.  His heart pounded.  The fear of losing her all too great to bear.  He
wondered why she had to leave anyway.  Was it because of what he did?  Why can't she just tell him how she felt?  Or whatever
it is that's on her mind.

"Eeeeh?!?!  She didn't even say goodbye...," Aiba's worried face was replaced with sadness as he glanced over to his bandmate,
driving haphazardly, barely missing a cargo truck.

"Oh just shut up and drive faster!" at that Sho stepped on Aiba's foot, flooring the gas pedal while shifting to the 5th, makingcar surge forward.

 "ARE!!," the driver let out a yell as he shifted the car back to 3rd and slowed down a bit on the highway.  A car horn blared as
they screeched past, " I don't want to hit another girl again, Sho-kun.  and you'll just end up falling in love with her again."

"That won't happen again...," Sho yelled back over the traffic noise before murmuring to himself," I love this one too much now"

Aiba didn't catch the last part and kept glancing at his friend while driving," Nani?!"

"I said keep driving or I'll lose her forever..." He said aloud as the car neared the airport.
