yume# 1 chapter 5

part 5: {battered and bruised~SHO}

Sho and Nino were on their way up to my room.  Nino kept looking at Sho since he looked fairly nervous for some reason.  "I hope she's awake.  We wouldn't want to disturb her," Sho seemed to be thinkig a aloud. 
"Ne, Sho-chan..." Nino tugged at Sho's arm, stopping him mid-stride, "doushita no?"
"Eh?" Sho was puzzeled at this question by Nino.  He was alright.  Nervous for some reason but he's just fine or so he thought.
"Betsu ni," Nino replied.  Still wondering what was bothering Sho.  As they opened the door to Jamie-chan's room, they saw Jun hugging Jamie, her head resting on his shoulder.  Sho just froze, unable to move or say anything.  Nino cleared his throat aloud and Jun let go of Jamie.
"Oh, you two...I-" Jamie started, a bit flustered.
"Ne minna," Jun looked really happy.  He was talking to the two in Nihongo.  Jaie was unable to catch what they were saying since it was too fast.  But in the end Sho seemed a bit pale and his jaw seemed set.  He was upset obviously.  After a few minutes, he said goodbye and left Nino and Jun.  Jamie was wondering what was wrong with him.

He saw everything.  There's no doubt about that!  Jun was at it again.  Playing games with the next pretty girl he fancies.  He saw how Jun's arms were wrapped around her.  But why?  Why was he filled with all these emotions? Anger.  Frustration.  Regret.  Confusion.  but why?  Jamie-chan wasn't even remotely his type.  He hardly even knew her.  He was trying to brush it all off, but try as he might, he couldn't shake the feelings that are choking him.  He got off the elevator at the back of the hospital and got into his car and drove towards Shibuya.  He had to work to get these maddening thoughts of Jamie-chan in Jun-kun's arms out of his head.

After that incident,  Sho didn't come back for 3 days and counting,  Jamie thought.  Could he be sick?  If he was, then surely the others would have said something.  A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts. It was Annie.  She always brought her food.  They always joked at how Jamie was getting really fat, fast.  Another knock on the door and Nino came in with his DS in hand.  Jamie's hand clamped over Annie's agape mouth to stop her from flailing. 
" Don't mind he Nino." I said while waving him over to the couch beside the bed where Annie also sat.
"Ohayou," Nino greeted them, a bit puzzled.
"Ohayou," Jamie replied and then whispered to Annie, " Promise me you won't flail or ask.  I'll explain later, alright?"
Annie nodded and Jamie took her hand away from her friend's face.  Jamie them turned to Nino and proceeded with the formalities.
"Anou~ Nino-chan...this is my tomadachi, Annie-chan."
"Hajimemashite."
"Annie, I guess you know who he is..." Jamie giggles
"H-h-hajimemashite, Nino-san" Annie stuttered as Nino flashed he his dazzling smile. 
"Jamie-chan, I just wanted to drop these off." handing Jamie an envelope.  She opened it and found 5 tags.
"Nande kore?" She asked.  Annie was trying to read the tags.
"Backstage Passes!!Ohmigod! They're backstage passes to the concert Jamie.  Its good for two months!" Annie was exstatic.
"Maji?" Jamie was truly happily surprised.
"Hai, you're allowed in our dressing room too" Nino added looking intently at Annie.
"Hmm...this is really something..ne Annie-chan?!"
"s-s-sou da na" Annie was just smiling at Nino.  Nino moved closer to Annie and asked if she knew the game he was currently playing.  Annie of course knew and they were trying to beat each other's scores and there was a third knock on the door.  It was Jun, bringing me more gifts if possible.  He stayed a while with Nino.  They were such fun to see in person.  They left a bit late already.  When Jamie and Annie were left alone, Jamie tried to explain how all of this had started.
