fallen angels 1.2
Sakurai Sho just walked to the open door and braced himself. His speed unseen by the rest of the world as he was soon outside Lord Kitagawa's office in Shibuya-ku. Anoether step and he was in the brightly lit corridors of the Jimousho building. Everything seemed normal enough, mable floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, cubicles for the office staff except for the fact that all of the employees are either full Kyuketsuki or half-breeds. (Save for the very few trusted Mortals) The others were huddled near the door, waiting for Ohno to tell them if they can enter. Their Riida looked at each of them, seriously and nodded as Sho approached.
"I know that some of you think we're here to recieve orders for tonight's patrol near Shinjuku station. That is not the case. We are going to be sent on a mission and are here for confirmation only and I'm thinking we have our own assignments. As you all may have noticed, I had a vision later." Ohno was speaking in a very stern voice, sure and precise. "The Chosen One is alive and beyond being a myth at that."
"Eeeh? Y-you saw the Chosen One?" Nino was surprised but curious," is it a he or a she though?"
"This is not the time for that Nino!" the tallest member spoke to his friend through telepathy, hitting the younger man on the head.
"ITAI!!" Nino glared up at his friend. "Well you don't have to hit me!"
"Listen then!" the older one said aloud this time.
"Hai.."Nino pouted, turning back to Ohno.
Riida cleared his throat, making the others silent. Sho scowled at the two then nodded for Riida to start.
"As I was saying, I saw the Chosen One. I wasn't able to tell if the child was male or female..." he said glancing pointedly at Nino's direction before continuing. "The baby was held by a Child of the Light and one of our Legion. What's important is that the child is alive, the very reason we were summoned. To find the child and by the looks of things, the awakening has begun. The aura I had felt resonated from within a 1000 mile radius. So we will be having teams as well. I'm not sure how Lord Kitagawa want to delegate the search but we will be leading since our senpais are all busy at the moment with the Mundanes."
They all nodded. This was not to be taken lightly, they will be able to help change things for the better and finally end the War of the Ages. Ohno's eyes misted over and flashed again, they were being summoned into the room. He turned to the double doors of the modern conference room and the others knew they were to follow him. Lord Kitagawa was waiting for them at the head of the long table, he was a somber old Kyuketsuki but determined in his ways. He trusted these younger Samurai of his. He had been taking care of them for over centuries now, after Great Lady Tsuki handed each of them over. He can still remember when each of them came, how they came and why. He had raised many of them to be the best with the help of her sister, Julie. ARASHI had only been formed a decade ago but they have proven themselves indispensible to the Jimousho. They bowed in unison.
"Ahhh...my young knights..my Samurais are here. Did it take time to the others, Ohno-kun?" He asked.
"We had a few hitches, My Lord. But they now understand the situation." Riida explained, bowing again.
"Naruhodo" the old one nodded then smiled. "Well, let's get started then."
The room had stylish modern furnishings. From the glass table top to the overzised, black, leather chairs that combined style with functionality. And at a certain rate making the severity of the situation much worse and less inviting. But the cold was never an issue, even for a half-Kyuketsuki, they did feel but never bothered. The leather giving way to their weigth as ech one sat down on the chairs that surrounded the glass conference table. Ohno sat across Lord Kitagawa, both waiting for the others. Sho took the seat at Riida's right-hand side, with his back towards the floor-to-ceiling windows. The darkness outside now turning to daylight. Hues of black, gray and periwinkle figthing for a place in the heavens. Aiba looked out the window before sitting next to Sho, resting his hands on the armrests. Nino sat adjacent to Ohno, right in front of Sho as Jun smugly leaned on his one of his elbows, the plam of his hand cupping his chin. The five of the Kyuketsuki samurais waited for the old one to start, Lord Kitagawa cleared his throat and began.
"As you may already know from your Riida," he nodded at Ohno before proceeding. "That the Chosen One has been felt earlier tonight. And we were given the honor by the Three Pillars to conduct the search. Now, we have a very vague description of the child. This child was born on the 15th moon of Orion. By now, the child would have grown into and adult, possibly by human standards, would be around twenty-five to twenty-seven years of age. We are not sure if the child is male or female but we do have someone who may be able to lead us to the identity of the child."
Nino looked at Ohno, he knew that their leader was usually tasked with finding missing identities.
"Ohno-kun, Great Lady Tsuki has asked for you to see her. You must see her after this meeting." the eldest member and leader of Arashi nodded once.
"Sakurai-kun, I know that you will be filming soon so we cannot risk you beeing seen straying from the set. I'll send word if we need you already" at that the rapper just nodded, if he was disappointed, he didn't let it show.
"Matsumoto-kun, do talk to Akanishi-kun about gathering the rest of the Juniors and their training. A great battle lays ahead. Great Lord Umi will need your help."
"Naruhodo" the youngest one said, obviously happy he got an important task.
"Ninomiya-kun, Aiba-kun please work on mapping out the places where the Mundanes are most found in the city. I'm sure they already know about the Chosen One, they might be planning something. Knowing that the two of you are good in strategy, I shall give you this task." Lord Kitagawa said as he spread his palms on the table, signaling that the meeting was over. "I shall summon all of you again next week and by then we shall know what to do next"
All of the five stood, bowed as Lord Kitagawa walked through a small door obscured by a bamboo plant, waiving to them before he left. Ohno turned to the others, "We all have our tasks. I bid you all well and see you all tomorrow for our usual appointments ne?"
"Anou~" Sho was apprehensive, its rare that he wasn't given an assignment. Why was he looked over just because he has more things on his appointment book? The others sensed this. Aiba patted his friend's shoulder and smiled his genki work smile. It made the rapper smirk, they understood each other well. Aiba was trying to cheer him up.
"It seems that you were looked over this time Sho-kun. Ja shitsurei shimasu." Jun smirked as he walked out the door, his smug expression made Sho shake his head. Jun was still too young and careless but he was a very good fighter. Not as good as Riida or Sho but still good enough at the tactical part.
"Let him gloat, Sho-kun. Like always, we don't question Lord Kitagawa. He knows why he didn't send you out. You might be needed for something else. Someone has to be on hand for anything ne" Aiba consoled.
"Hai.." Sho said after a deep breath. Riida moved towards the door, the others followed soon after.
"Ja matta ashita~" Nino waived and vanished.
"Ch-chotto matte!" Aiba cried but his friend was gone already, scratching his head he vanished as well. The latter knew where to find him at a night like this.
Sho saluted and walked backwards before disappearing. Ohno knew too well he was headed, that girl he was fawning over. The human. Ohno looked at his watch, 1:55am. He still has time. He closed his eyes and focused. He wanted to reach someone before leaving for the Temple. She was asleep. He opened his eyes again, braced himself, making a mental note to check on the woman again later. His kachan. Arashi's leader blinked and was already in front of the Temple.

Ohno Satoshi
As far as he can recollect, Satoshi was what he was called by his mother. A vague flash of light would come to his head when he tried to remember her. He has three: his biological mother, the one she can't remember since he awakened; the Great Lady, who nursed him back to health; and his Kachan, the one whom he was handed over to by the Great Lady. He was still half-human after all, his Kachan loved him like her own and cared for him. His Oneesan too, was very kind to him. They were humans, mortals. But they never thought of him any different from them. He wasn't the brightest kid in the Gakuen but he did his best whilst in training. But he did get noticed when it came to control classes, he had those classes with Sho and Jun even if they were still younger than he was. It seemed that most of those who graduated from that class became a leader or the second-in-command. He was actually happy and proud when he was told that he will be leading a new group. Debuted as ARASHI, in 1999. All the centuries of hard work paid off. He knew that Kachan was proud of him. Letting out a deep sigh, he walked the long corridor leading to the Great Lady's room. He smiled as he passed the garden's small lake, reflecting the dark cloudy sky that hid the silver moon. He can remember how he first came to these gardens, one of the wars he was asked to fight against the Mundanes. He was one of the many young fledglings back then, a lot of them had gotten hurt. He was lucky to have even survived.
"Mesmerized again, Satoshi-kun?" the silky smooth voice asked.
He knew it all too well, turning as he smiled "O Hisashiburi, Great Lady" He bowed low in respect.
"Ah yes, its been too long. I'm glad you can help me, Satoshi-kun. Come with me" she said as her Edwardian dress completely contrasted the Traditional dwellings. Lady Tsuki had always been eccentric with her ways, Ohno thought. They went inside a paper sliding door near the end of the gardens, leaving his shoes outside. It was all too familiar to him, like it was yesterday. The tatami covered floor, the low table and soft cushions in te receiving room. A pot of Jasmine tea was set and the older one motioned for him to be seated.
"I heard that," the lady giggled. Ohno forgot that she could read minds as well, he looked at his hands as he sat down.
"Hontouni gomenasai" he mumbled.
"Mah~ daijoubu, I am eccentric anyway. Now I must tell you this. my child" it was a bit errie that she still called him that, to think she only looked no older that he was.
